Deadline: December 1, 2010
Grants of up to $15,000 plus trips to SeaWorld will be awarded to schools and community groups working at the grassroots level to protect and preserve the environment.
Since 1993, the Environmental Excellence Awards have recognized the outstanding efforts of students and teachers across the country who are working at the grassroots level to protect and preserve the environment. Over the last 17 years, SeaWorld & Busch Gardens have awarded $1.7 million to more than 150 schools in 35 U.S. states/territories. In 2004, the awards program was expanded to include community groups who are protecting planet Earth.
Note: This is an awards program, not a grant. Project applicants should be able to demonstrate significant accomplishments that have occurred prior to the submission deadline.
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 5 PM ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2010.
