2013 ACTrees Day

Thanks to our Hosts and Sponsors

Pittsburgh pocket parkThanks to our hosts in Pittsburgh for showing us a wonderful time and revealing the wonders of their city as only locals can. The city’s dedication to urban greening innovation delighted ACTrees Day attendees, who got to explore Pittsburgh first-hand during tours coordinated and led by ACTrees member organizations Tree Pittsburgh, City of Pittsburgh, Nine Mile Run Watershed Association, and Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.

ACTrees Day was made possible with support from CSX, Bartlett Tree Experts, and J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co., whose generosity not only funded the ACTrees Day program but also provided dozens of travel scholarships to help people attend this once-per-year event. A big thank you to these sponsors, and to TD and Boise Inc. for providing materials at ACTrees Day.
