Join us on Saturday, November 12, before the conference begins for a Community Tree Planting in Orlando. Alliance for Community Trees (ACTrees) invites all conference attendees to join ACTrees members, CSX Transportation, City of Orlando, local partners, and experienced community organizers from across the country for a morning of service. This exciting, hands-on opportunity is a chance to plant trees in the Orlando area, leaving a lasting mark in our host city.
This tree planting will be part of the national Trees for Tracks program. CSX Transportation partners with ACTrees and City Year to plant trees with employees and community volunteers as part of a campaign to plant 21,000 trees – one for every mile of track in the CSX railway network. Learn about Orlando’s sustainability initiatives first-hand and experience the city alongside colleagues from across the country. For more information, contact ACTrees at 301-277-0040 or Info@ACTrees.org.
