Arboriculture: For the Trees, For the People

This year, the 2010 MAC-ISA Annual Meeting “Arboriculture: For the Trees, For the People” will take place at the Erickson Alumni Center in Morgantown, West Virginia.

This year’s meeting features a new format. Full and half day pre-conference seminars will take place on Sunday, Oct. 3, along with the annual Tree Fund golf tournament. Pre-conference seminars will include: Technical Tree Felling by North American Training Solutions, Up By Roots with Jim Urban, Tree Risk Assessment with Neil Hendrickson and First Aid and CPR.
Monday’s Field Day will feature Tree Walks, Advanced Rigging, Job Site Safety, A300 Tree Risk Assessment, Plant disease & pest updates, a motorcycle ride for research and much more. Indoor Sessions on Tuesday will include talks on Safety Culture in the Workplace, Storm Damage Remediation, Tree Root Biology and Soil Nutrients, Business and Arboriculture and many other interesting topics with dynamic speakers
