September 26-29, 2007
National Center on Nonprofit Enterprise’s third national conference will provide new ways of thinking and practical tools to improve nonprofit organizations’ sustainability. How a nonprofit organization maintains its impact is a constant challenge to nonprofit board members, CEOs, development officers, and other senior managers. Sustainability is often described as if its achievement will compromise a nonprofit’s mission.
To help participants learn to resolve this tension, the conference will focus on the three principal dimensions of sustainability: how a nonprofit secures the resources it needs, how it puts them to best use, and how it deals with uncertainty in its environment.
