April 8-10 2008
Green building practices greatly reduce air pollution and water use. But there are financial incentives as well. The green way of doing business saves contractors building costs, employer’s health costs, and home owner’s money each time they turn on a light. The goals for GreenCoast 2008 are to encourage sustainable building practices and change the paradigm of how buildings are designed and built in the rapidly developing (and redeveloping) states of Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida.
GreenCoast 2008 features interactive education sessions linked with inspiring keynote speakers in a beautiful riverfront setting- the Mobile Convention Center. The simultaneous Green Expo will highlight sustainable products and services and feature national and regional exhibitors.
The GreenCoast educational tracks include commercial, residential, and public. Each track features interactive sessions with engaging and informed presenters. Attendees will learn more about green building and sustainable strategies that are profitable and environmentally responsible.
