Mechanisms of Accountability in Comprehensive Change Initiatives

September 19, 2007
Washington, DC
Arguably, one of the distinguishing features of the LISC’s Sustainable Communities Initiative, building on the experience of CCRP before it, is the emphasis on accountability for results. Efforts to ensure accountability take place within a complex array of programs, partnerships, and systems, crossing multiple program areas. How can this complexity be harnessed to keep participants focused on community priorities?

This lecture will be presented, 2:00-3:30pm EST, at the Forest Service Headquarters in the Yates Building (Arts and Industry, red brick with clock tower) located on the corner of 14th and Independence Avenue. The closest metro is the Smithsonian (12th and Independence).
