National Youth Crime Prevention Conference & Forum

March 26-29, 2008
Miami, FL
Building Champions, the 19th annual National Youth Crime Prevention Conference & International Forum, is sponsored by Youth Crime Watch of America. Youth will also have the opportunity to participate in the Y.E.S. Forum where they will brainstorm and develop solutions to critical issues youth face today.

Youth ages 12-22, their adult allies, and others can choose from four professional development seminars and more than 60 workshops. Youth Crime Watch of America (YCWA) brings youth of all backgrounds together to identify and correct problems unique to their schools and communities. The program empowers youth to take an active role in addressing the problems around them. Youth take ownership of their own YCWA program for their school, neighborhood, public housing site, recreational center or park.
Workshop proposals are being accepted until November 30, 2007.
