This year the Conference, entitled “Vision for the Future: Bridging the Gap Between Gray & Green Infrastructure,” is brought to you by a great partnership forged between The California Urban Forests Council, The Maintenance Superintendents Association, Alliance for Community Trees, and the Inland Urban Forest Council! Community Tree Leadership Forum
Among the conference opportunities are three in-depth Community Tree Leadership Forum sessions taking place on Wednesday, October 6, and Thursday, October 7. Expert presenters will deliver fundraising and marketing strategies designed specifically for nonprofit organizations and grassroots tree groups.

Through these consecutive sessions, nonprofit consultant Andy Robinson will deliver fundraising strategies for small nonprofits. Designed to build the capacity of nonprofit tree advocates through hands-on workshops, these sessions will focus on key development skills such as: creating an effective fundraising case statement to tell your story; developing fundable projects; researching prospective funders; working with prospects to build relationships; making the ask; and integrating fundraising throughout the organization.
